A Competitive Safari

A Comp Safari is a timed off road race, the course is marked out over a route that can vary from 2 to 10 miles. Competitors undertake a number of timed runs (usually about 10) during a set period.

The vehicles taking part are often highly modified with safety and performance modifications, such as roll cages, long travel suspension and V8 engines. Race vehicles must pass scrutineering prior to competition and competitors must produce a current MSA competition license as well as a valid club membership card.

SCOR

The Southern Counties Off Road Championship consists of 8-10 rounds over the south of England.

The SCOR Championship classes:
Class A - 4wd up to 2000cc
Class B - 4wd up to 2001cc to 3500cc
Class C - 4wd over 3501cc
Class D - 2wd any capacity
